Electro motors have been a consistent feature in my creations for more than 10 years – self-sufficient or in interaction with other elements. The installations is an attempt to move between the two- and the three-dimensional – the two-dimensional picture in interaction with the three-dimensional object, which altogether creates a third expression. A merger which comes together in a releasing unity. It is a balance not to get the two-dimensional and the representative to dominate and at the same time make sure to check the three-dimensional, so that action, body and scrutiny don’t leave to big trails. In that way the third expression occurs – the unspeakable and unpredictable. Here the installation occurs as a total-work that almost covers or best describes the desired or desirable. The desirable is to get into a condition, ex. a manic repetition of changeability, as when a picture on an electromotor sets in motion, when somebody enters the room, and discreet turns around its own axis but changes expression constantly.
